Shiba is a kind-hearted and sensitive dog who hasn’t had the easiest beginning. He is very reserved and prefers to observe from a distance, but with gentle encouragement and positive reinforcement, he can slowly learn to trust. Food rewards are especially helpful in building a connection with him.

At the moment, Shiba is not comfortable being touched. With time, consistency, and one patient person by his side, he can grow more at ease and develop a meaningful bond.

He is social with other dogs and currently lives peacefully in a small group setting. Shiba would thrive in a calm, understanding home where he is given the space and time he needs to feel safe and gradually come out of his shell.
