This great male spent his entire life in an animal shelter, which unfortunately is an undignified place for the dogs living there.

He was given food, but that was basically it.

He was never allowed to leave his bare kennel, only concrete and deafening noise, no affection and no attention, Mirko was one of the forgotten.

When Cornelia had the opportunity to take in some dogs from this municipal animal shelter again in August 2024, Mirko was lucky for the first time in his life, because he too was finally allowed to leave this sad place.

As soon as he arrived at Cornelia’s, Mirko showed himself to be an extremely friendly and uncomplicated male from the start.

He gets on very well with all the other dogs, Mirko is people-oriented and finally wants to prove what a great dog he is.

We know that an older dog has rather poor chances of being adopted, and on top of that he suffers from leishmaniasis.

However, Mirko is being treated and has no physical limitations.

A stress-free environment is particularly important for dogs like this, and the long time in the municipal animal shelter, the barking of hundreds of dogs, was certainly particularly bad for him.

Now it is time for him to finally experience how wonderful a dog’s life can be, and to find his people.
