When you see Malia like this and meet her, it’s hard to imagine that this pretty dog ​​has spent almost her entire life in a narrow and cold concrete bunker. Malia came to the municipal animal shelter when she was around 3 months old, a place where a species-appropriate life is not possible for every dog. She was never allowed to play freely, going for a walk was certainly out of the question and the short moments in which food was put in front of her were really not enough to make her feel safe and comfortable as a dog. So the years passed and when Cornelia had the opportunity to free some dogs from this animal shelter in August 2024, Malia was one of the lucky ones. For the first time she was allowed to go into a run, was finally able to romp around and she learned how nice it is when you spend time with her. Although this dog has had such bad experiences, she is an extremely bright and people-oriented representative of her species. She enjoys being close to people, gets along well with all other dogs and is completely uncomplicated. We know that Malia is already one of the older dogs and that therefore few people will be interested in her. But Malia has no health problems and we hope that we will be able to help her get adopted.
