Kalia and her sisters Teda and Kami were given to the animal shelter by their family because the owners were overwhelmed with their dog’s 5 unwanted puppies.

At least the dog has now been sterilized so that no other dogs will have to share Kalia’s fate in the future.

The mother is a very balanced and calm dog, she is a purebred Cernieco di Etna, a breed of dog common in Sicily.

Kalia is playful, curious and gets along well with all dogs, she also loves cats and she especially likes children.

Her sister Kami has already found her own family, now we have to keep our fingers crossed for Kalia and Teda that they too will soon be able to leave the animal shelter.
